Virginia High School Softball - King's Fork felled by Deep Creek

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Deep Creek Hornets softball squad scored a good 17-1 win over the King's Fork Bulldogs.
The Hornets now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Nansemond River for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. Deep Creek will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 24-8 non-league win over Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, King's Fork falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
