North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Foard Tigers (Newton, NC), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maiden for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. North Lincoln will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Foard falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. West Lincoln won 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against East Lincoln (Denver, NC)
