The Lumberton Pirates softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Purnell Swett Rams to 4 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Lumberton moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Pirates host South View (Hope Mills, NC) to play the Tigers in a game on Thursday, April 6. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-2.
