The South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 7-2 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, South Brunswick upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Cougars host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to battle the Pirates in a Mideastern outing on Friday, March 31. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 9-2. Topsail won 14-1 in their recent non-league outing against Croatan (Newport, NC)
With the defeat, West Brunswick drops to 0-7 on the season. The Trojans host Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Vikings in a Mideastern outing on Friday, March 31. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 7-2. Hoggard won 16-2 in their recent league outing against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
