In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Tallwood Lions soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Franklin Broncos.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Salem (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils come into the Beach battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Salem was overwhelmed by Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Broncos (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA). The Dragons come into the Tri-Rivers battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech thwarted Greensville County (Emporia, VA), 8-0, in a league battle.
