Texas High School Softball - Anson knocked off by Hamlin

In Tuesday's league contest, the Hamlin Pied Pipers (Hamlin, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Anson Tigers (Anson, TX), by a margin of 20-2.

With the triumph, Hamlin moves its record to 16-5 on the year. The Pied Pipers travel to Hawley (Hawley, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 2A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, March 31. The Bearcats come into the contest with a record of 14-8. Hawley lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Stamford (Stamford, TX)

In their next game, the Tigers play the Knox City Greyhounds (Knox City, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 1. Anson will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX).
