Florida High School Softball - DeSoto County bounces Avon Park

The DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) softball routed the visiting Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL), 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL). The Manta Rays go into the 4A District 11 bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Lemon Bay notched a victory over Booker (Sarasota, FL), 28-0, in a league bout.

The Red Devils now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Fort Meade for a non-league bout on Friday, March 31. Avon Park will confront a Miners squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Mulberry (Mulberry, FL). The Miners record now stands at 6-6.
