In Tuesday's league outing, the host Barbers Hill Eagles softball team scored a close 6-1 win over the Nederland Bulldogs.
Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 outing, on Friday, March 31. Barbers Hill will attempt to improve on its 25-2 season record.
The Bulldogs (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A Region III District 17 challenge with a 8-13 record. In their last challenge, Sterling was routed by Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX), 13-0, in a league challenge.
