In Tuesday's league contest, the Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA), by a margin of 18-1.
With the triumph, Hawthorne moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Serra (Gardena, CA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league contest on Monday, April 3. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a record of 3-4.
In their next game, the Normans play the Morningside Monarchs (Inglewood, CA) in a Pioneer contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Beverly Hills will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
