Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bishop Diego Cardinals (Santa Barbara, CA), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Clara for a Tri-Valley challenge on Thursday, March 30. Foothill Tech will battle a Saints squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Grace Brethren (Simi Valley, CA). The Saints record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Bishop Diego falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Castaic (Castaic, CA) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Castaic lost 24-3 in their recent league challenge against West Ranch (Valencia, CA)
