The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Brookville Bees to 1 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Jefferson Forest improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Amherst County (Amherst, VA) to clash with the Lancers in a Seminole game on Friday, March 31. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 6-0. Amherst County won 19-7 in their recent league game against Liberty (Bedford, VA)

In their next game, the Bees clash with the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 29. Brookville will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Generals come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 6-0 league win over Gretna (Gretna, VA).
