In Tuesday's league outing, the host Western Albemarle Warriors softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Charlottesville Black Knights.
Coming up next, the Warriors encounter the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a Jefferson outing, on Thursday, March 30. Western Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 4-4 record after their 8-4 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
The Black Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Jefferson outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Goochland prevailed over Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 15-4, in a league outing.
