The Roosevelt Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Childress Bobcats to 6 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Roosevelt moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Idalou (Idalou, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 2 game on Friday, April 14. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 19-7.

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 game, on Saturday, April 1. Childress will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Antelopes come into the game with a 1-7 record after their 18-0 league loss to Idalou (Idalou, TX).
