East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Gators now own a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whiteville for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Friday, March 31. East Columbus will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Whiteville falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. St. Pauls won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC)
