The Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) softball nipped the host Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX), 18-17 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Knights (11-10) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region III District 20 bout with a 7-15 record. In their last bout, Fort Bend Austin was edged by George Ranch (Richmond, TX), 18-0, in a league bout.

The Rangers now possess a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Austin for a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, April 4. Fort Bend Clements will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-4 league win over Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-15.
