Halls Tigers (Halls, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Peabody Golden Tide (Trenton, TN), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Munford for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Halls will face a Cougars squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Peabody falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Golden tide travel to Lake County (Tiptonville, TN) to face the Falcons in a 1A District 14 challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Lake County lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Halls (Halls, TN)
