Arizona High School Softball - Higley bounces Mountain Pointe

March 28, 2023: Phoenix, AZ 85044

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), witnessed Higley's softball squad tip Mountain Pointe by a count of 13-7.

The Knights now sport a 15-5 record. They play next when they host Campo Verde for a 5A San Tan match on Friday, March 31. Higley will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Mountain Pointe moves to 7-8 on the season. The Pride host McClintock (Tempe, AZ) to meet the Chargers in a non-league match on Thursday, March 30. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 5-7. McClintock won 20-0 in their recent non-league match against Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ)
