North Carolina High School Softball - Lakewood nudges Hobbton

Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 4-3 in a league challenge.
The Leopards now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Rosewood for a Carolina 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 4.
With the loss, Hobbton falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Union (Rose Hill, NC) to battle the Spartans in a Carolina 1A challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Union lost 18-1 in their recent league challenge against North Duplin (Calypso, NC)
