The Hough Huskies routed the host Hopewell Titans softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Huskies (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Vikings go into the Queen City 3A/4A bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, North Mecklenburg toppled West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 17-2, in a league bout.

The Titans now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Mallard Creek for a Queen City 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, April 4. Hopewell will confront a Mavericks squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-1.
