Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), 25-2 in a league challenge.

The Vipers now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Desert Mountain for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Verrado will face a Wolves team coming off a 1-0 league win over Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 13-3.

In their next game, the Fighting Lobos play the Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) in a 5A Desert West contest, on Friday, March 31. La Joya Community will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 5-13 record after their 2-1 league loss to Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ).
