In Tuesday's league contest, the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), by a margin of 15-1.
With the triumph, Rains moves its record to 17-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Edgewood (Edgewood, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 12 contest on Friday, March 31. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 7-7.
In their next game, the Buffaloes clash with the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 game, on Friday, March 31. Lone Oak will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 13-5 record after their 7-6 league win over Chisum (Paris, TX).
