West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Colts now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Forest Hills for a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Thursday, March 30. West Stanly will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Parkwood falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Wolf pack host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to battle the Redhawks in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Redhawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Monroe lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)
