Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Seahawks now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a 3A South Sound challenge on Thursday, March 30. Peninsula will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Lakes (Lakewood, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Yelm falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tornados travel to Timberline (Lacey, WA) to battle the Blazers in a 3A South Sound challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Blazers enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Timberline won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against River Ridge (Lacey, WA)
