The Permian Panthers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats to 5 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Permian improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Panthers host Midland (Midland, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 6A Region I District 2 game on Friday, March 31. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 13-5. Midland won 7-0 in their recent league game against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX)

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 game, on Friday, March 31. San Angelo Central will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 5-10 record after their 21-5 league loss to Permian (Odessa, TX).
