North Carolina High School Softball - Ragsdale bounces Western Guilford

The Ragsdale Tigers routed the visiting Western Guilford Hornets softball squad by a count of 27-11 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Tigers (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks go into the Metro 4A battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Northern Guilford was routed by Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Hornets now sport a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Mount Tabor for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 29. Western Guilford will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 3-7.
