Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 21-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hunt for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Triton will face a Warriors squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Westover falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Triton (Erwin, NC) to face the Hawks in a All American 3A/4A challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. Triton won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Hunt (Wilson, NC)
