With the win, Austin upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Northside (Houston, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 5A Region III District 19 test on Monday, April 1. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-4. Northside won 7-4 in their recent league test against Sterling (Houston, TX)

With the defeat, Sharpstown falls to 1-10 on the season. The Apollos travel to Wisdom (Houston, TX) to battle the Generals in a 5A Region III District 19 test on Saturday, April 6. The Generals come into the test with a record of 6-6.
