Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Byers Lions (Holly Springs, MS), 19-4 in a league test.
With the win, Jumpertown upgrades its record to 2-12 on the season. The Cardinals host Pine Grove (Ripley, MS) to play the Panthers in a 1A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, April 2. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 13-7.
