The Franklinton Demons baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Salmen Spartans to 0 in the Demons league victory on Thursday.
The Demons (14-6) will now prepare for their match against Loranger (Loranger, LA). The Wolves go into the 4A District 8 match with a 2-17 record. In their last match, Loranger was overwhelmed by Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA), 4-1, in a league match.
The Spartans (1-13) will now prepare for their match against Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Rebels go into the 4A District 8 match with a 16-8 record. In their last match, Pearl River was overwhelmed by Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 7-6, in a league match.
