The Gosnell Pirates baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Rivercrest Colts to 1 in the Pirates league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Bearcats go into the non-league match with a 13-6 record. In their last match, Brookland was overwhelmed by Marion (Marion, AR), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Colts (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Nettleton was overwhelmed by Searcy (Searcy, AR), 13-3, in a league game.
