The Pass Christian Pirates baseball team (Pass Christian, MS), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Greene County Wildcats (Leakesville, MS)
The Wildcats now hold a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poplarville for a 4A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, April 2. Greene County will confront a Hornets team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 11-9.
Next, the Pirates confront the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 2. Pass Christian will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the outing with a 13-7 record after their 3-1 league win over St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS).
