Arkansas High School Baseball - Lavaca defeats Mountainburg

March 28, 2024: Mountainburg, AR 72946

Lavaca Golden Arrows (Lavaca, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Mountainburg Dragons (Mountainburg, AR), 13-6 in a league test.

With the win, Lavaca upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Golden Arrows host County Line (Branch, AR) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, March 29. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-2. County Line won 13-0 in their recent league test against Mulberry (Mulberry, AR)

With the defeat, Mountainburg falls to 3-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to Hector (Hector, AR) to battle the Wildcats in a 2A Region 4 test on Monday, April 1. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-2. Hector won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Jasper (Jasper, AR)
