In Thursday's league game, the host Stringer Red Devils baseball team scored a nice 23-0 victory over the Leake County Gators.
The Red Devils (4-13) will now prepare for their game against Millry (Millry, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 24-2 record. In their last game, Millry overcame Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL), 11-1, in a non-league game.
The Gators (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS). The Tartars go into the 1A Region 7 game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Taylorsville overcame Quitman (Quitman, MS), 8-4, in a non-league game.
