The River Pilots crushed the host Magnolia Blue Eagles baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Pilots now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilmer County for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 30. River will face a Titans team coming off a 12-1 league win over Webster County (Upper Glade, WV). The Titans record now stands at 7-2.
Next, the Blue Eagles face the Tyler Knights (Sistersville, WV) in a Little Kanawha bout, on Friday, March 29. Magnolia will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 9-8 league win over St. Marys (St. Marys, WV).
