North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashe County loses to South Caldwell

In Thursday's league game, the visiting South Caldwell Spartans baseball team scored a nice 28-0 victory over the Ashe County Huskies.
The Spartans (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Hibriten was overwhelmed by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 10-1, in a non-league game.
The Huskies (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Freedom overcame Watauga (Boone, NC), 5-3, in a non-league game.
