Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) and the host Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX), witnessed Midway's softball squad tip Hutto by a count of 4-3.

The Panthers now sport a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Copperas Cove for a match on Tuesday, April 2. Midway will face a Bulldawgs squad coming off a 14-6 league loss to Midway (Waco, TX). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Hutto moves to 0-2 on the season.
