In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Dixie Hornets soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the High Point Academy Grizzlies.
The Hornets (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Hornets come into the A Region 2 battle with a 0-6 record.
The Grizzlies (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Spartanburg was overwhelmed by Dorman (Roebuck, SC), 2-1, in a league battle.
