Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Monday, April 8. Monticello will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 7-1 league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA).

The Lions now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Orange County for a Jefferson challenge on Monday, April 8. Louisa County will confront a Fighting Hornets team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 0-2.
