Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Cueva for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. Alamogordo will face a Bears squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Bears record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Farmington falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Cibola won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Aztec (Aztec, NM)
