The Auburn Tigers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Smiths Station Panthers to 3 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Auburn improves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Tigers host Central (Phenix City, AL) to clash with the Red Devils in a 7A Area 4 game on Tuesday, April 2. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 25-4. Central won 13-4 in their recent non-league game against Beauregard (Opelika, AL)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 5. Smiths Station will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record.
