Texas High School Softball - Boerne-Champion bounces Wagner

Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), 11-4 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now sport a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host Veterans Memorial for a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Boerne-Champion will face a Patriots squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Wagner falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Pieper (San Antonio, TX) to face the Warriors in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 6-21.
