The Booneville Bearcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Charleston Tigers to 2 in the Bearcats league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Booneville moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Bearcats host Lamar (Lamar, AR) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, March 29. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 4-1.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Paris Eagles (Paris, AR) in a 3A Region 4 game, on Tuesday, April 2. Charleston will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
