Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Borrego Springs Rams (Borrego Springs, CA), 24-14 in a non-league challenge.

The RAMS now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Indio for a Desert Valley challenge on Friday, March 29. Desert Mirage will battle a Rajahs squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Rajahs record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Borrego Springs falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA) to battle the Scots in a Manzanita challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Scots enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Vincent Memorial lost 34-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Borrego Springs (Borrego Springs, CA)
