Texas High School Softball - Broaddus holds off Chireno

March 28, 2024: Broaddus, TX 75929

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Broaddus Bulldogs (Broaddus, TX) and the visiting Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX), witnessed Broaddus's softball squad tip Chireno by a count of 6-4.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Brookeland for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 2.

With the loss, Chireno moves to 0-4 on the season. The Owls host Burkeville (Burkeville, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 2A Region III District 23 match on Monday, April 1. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 2-12. Burkeville lost 20-0 in their recent league match against Chester (Chester, TX)
