The Castleberry Lions softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Lake Worth Bullfrogs to 11 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Castleberry moves its record to 14-8 on the year. The Lions host Krum (Krum, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 4A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, April 2. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 22-2. Krum won 10-0 in their recent league game against Springtown (Springtown, TX)

In their next game, the Bullfrogs clash with the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 game, on Tuesday, April 2. Lake Worth will attempt to move on its 9-13 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 6-15 record after their 7-2 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
