In Thursday's league outing, the host Cherokee Braves softball team scored a close 11-4 win over the Swain County Maroon Devils.

Coming up next, the Braves battle the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 15. Cherokee will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
