The China Spring Cougars softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Connally Cadets to 5 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, China Spring moves its record to 9-15 on the year. The Cougars travel to Gatesville (Gatesville, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a 4A Region III District 23 game on Tuesday, April 2. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 14-13. Gatesville lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Robinson (Robinson, TX)

In their next game, the Cadets clash with the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 game, on Tuesday, April 2. Connally will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 22-1 record after their 16-0 league win over La Vega (Waco, TX).
