The Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Pope John Paul II Knights to 5 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Christ Presbyterian Academy improves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN) to clash with the Mustangs in a D II-AA Middle game on Tuesday, April 2. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 5-1. Lipscomb Academy won 4-3 in their recent league game against Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats (Franklin, TN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 2. Pope John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
