The Gibbs Eagles routed the host Clinton Dragons softball squad by a final score of 12-3 in Thursday's league battle.

The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Patriots go into the 3A District 4 battle with a 3-1 record.

The Dragons now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Anderson County for a 3A District 4 battle on Tuesday, April 2. Clinton will meet a Mavericks squad coming off a 15-14 non-league loss to Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-6.
