New York High School Softball - Walton loses to Delaware Academy

The Delaware Academy Bulldogs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Walton Warriors to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Delaware Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Richfield Springs Central (Richfield Springs, NY) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 3. The Indians come into the game with a record of 0-0.

Game Summary
Delhi opened up its spring campaign at Downsville taking on the W/D team. The Bulldogs combined for 10 hits and posted 17 runs over 5 innings. On defense pitcher Alli Ferrara and catcher Kara Fitch recorded 12 K's while only giving up 2 hits on the afternoon. Strong defense turned in by Leah Dennis, Leah Young and Dani Ennists anchored the Bulldogs who only had to record 3 outs behind strong pitching.
